Holding Out For a Hero

Tuesday November 26th, 2013 4pm PST:

superheroAfter coming out of one or more “bad” relationships one might ask “how do I change this dynamic and find someone worth having a relationship with?” A common question I hear is “How can I prevent getting involved with someone like ‘that’ again?” Another question “How do I find someone who will really love me?”

In this episode of Pandora’s Box I will talk about the importance of Holding out for a hero. This means stop settling and accepting less than what you really want in your life. Be willing to be alone for now and wait for someone who is worth the wait. Who is your hero? Stay tuned and find out.

You can listen Online to the live show or call into the live show at (347) 826-9626.

New Women’s Support Forum Launching

womenssupportI am launching a new support group for Women who are recovering from narcissistic abuse and beyond. When I say beyond, I mean that once you get over obsessing about the narcissist in your life it is time to get really focused on your own healing, traversing the dark night of the soul, empowering yourself, and confronting old patterns of relating that are no longer working for you.

The Women’s support forum is a secure forum. You will have the security of knowing all identities are verified by your credit card. Your details are secure and your identity can remain anonymous to all forum participants.

With Free Online forums anyone can join under any name and the forum administrator has no way of verifying identity. As a forum moderator I have come across a lot of participants complaining that they feel the narcissist in their life has infiltrated the forum. We also get abusive members on the forum from time to time. Abuse on “free” support forums is a real problem. I have received a lot of emails from people who come to me from other forums and tell me about the abuse going on.

The real truth is; you get what you pay for. With free forums all moderation and management of that forum is voluntary. A free forum software such as Yahoo or Lefora must be used which is supported by advertisements. Some of the advertisements can be invasive and disturbing to the flow of conversation.

For a small fee of $7.00 per month the new Women’s forum uses a fee based software program without any advertising. It gives the moderator more options for management of the forum, including the ability to know who its members are. You will have to apply with a credit or debit card and then be approved for the forum. The name on the credit card must match the name you register with. However your name will not be visible to other members. You will choose a user name to identify yourself in the forum. You will also have the option to mask your email address. Fees will only be charged once membership is approved and you will have immediate access to the forum at this time.

Credit card verification also prevents an abusive member who has been banned from coming back under another name and continue the abuse. Abuse is much less likely to happen when an individual knows they can be identified.

This fee will also encourage people who are no longer active to unsubscribe leaving only active members to participate. If you drop out of the group you can reapply at any time that you feel you need the support.

With this forum software I have set up several different categories for discussion and each category is like a forum in itself. This way those who would like to work on personal and spiritual growth can participate only in the threads that are geared towards this topic. If you would like to work on the topic of my book “Rebirth; Traversing the Dark Night of the Soul” there is a topic set up for this area of focus. I know a lot of people drop out of forums because they are tired of focusing on “narcissistic abuse” and would much rather move on with their lives and focus on their own growth. This is an option here.

A private chat option is available so that members can chat with each other in real time.

So, for a small monthly fee of $7.00 you can participate in this support group now. Please understand this group is just now launching and it may take a few weeks to get buzzing. I will be personally visiting this forum on a regular basis so that you can begin to receive support right away.

Thank you in advance for joining.
