Giving Thanks for What is Good

When we have “bad things” going on in our lives, the last thing that occurs to us is to look for the good.  Typically, the pain, the loss, the trauma or whatever else is going on becomes the center of our focus.

For many, the Holidays are tough times.  You may find yourself alone, separated from family, estranged from a loved one, and feeling there is nothing to celebrate.  Although I am not encouraging celebration, I am encouraging looking for what is still standing in your life, and focus your attention there.

After a hurricane or a fire, one must assess the damages and decide if their home or any of the possessions can be saved or if they need to start over, from the ground up.

Many of us find ourselves in “start over” mode and must let go of what has been destroyed in the fire, or wiped out by the hurricane.  The most difficult part is the letting go.  We must learn to “let go” of the life we were living prior to the “disaster.”  That life is no longer available to us.  This is natures way of telling us, it is time to rebuild. Everybody Has a Dark Side

Listen on Pandora’s Box Radio

I often hear people say “he really has a dark side.”  A better way of saying this might be “he has a really dark side.”  Because the truth is….we all have a dark side.

We live in a world of duality and this means we have good/bad, light/dark, hot/cold, big/little, happy/sad.

Most of us would love to live in a world of good, light, warm, grand and happy, but right now, where we are in our human evolution, we must still navigate through life’s great challenges and an array of dark emotions.

Emotions, in and of themselves, are not dark.  They are not negative!  It is that there are emotions we don’t like to feel, because they don’t feel good.  We like to feel good!  We want to be happy all the time.  But this is not the reality we live in. Continue reading Everybody Has a Dark Side

Healing Narcissistic Abuse and Finding the True Self Now Available in Print

healing-narcissistic-abuse-large_frontWhen I first began writing books I released my books in E-book only. The demand for E-books is high because people ordering books often want the information “right now!” But there is also a demand for a print book that readers can curl up with on their sofa or in bed at night without the distraction of electronics.

My book “Rebirth; Traversing the Dark Night of the Soul” was my only book available in print, but by popular demand I have decided to print “Healing Narcissistic Abuse and Finding the True Self.” This is a compilation of my many years of knowledge and experience working in the field of narcissistic abuse.

kaleahBecause of the size of this book (over 380 pages), and I am a small, independent publisher, I will need to increase the price to cover the cost of printing, however I am offering this book right now for the same cost as “Rebirth,” which is much smaller.

Healing Narcissistic Abuse and Finding the True Self covers the topic of narcissistic personality disorder, narcissistic abuse, cult behavior, energy, the sociopath, the borderline, the highly sensitive personality, the empath, Codependency, the trauma bond, adult attachment, psychic and emotional cords, shame, karma, forgiveness, the true self and much more.

Please consider ordering your copy of this book today and have an excellent resource for your healing and recovery, on your nightstand.

Blessings on your journey!

Healing Core Pain Class Launching!

Happy New Year!

breakingfreeThe first of the year is a great time to clear the slate and start fresh with a dedicated commitment to yourself and creating the life you really want to live.

If you have been suffering or living in a lot of pain, perhaps it is time to go deeper into it, understand it and find a way to release your pain and move towards greater and greater joy. Joy and pain are on opposite ends of the same spectrum, so the deeper you feel the pain, the deeper you will also experience your joy.

This month I am resurrecting my “Healing Core Pain” tele-class to assist you in moving through your pain which ultimately leads you out of pain. In this class you will have the opportunity to confront your pain on a deeper level and learn tools to help you to cope, tolerate and be with your pain so that you are no longer running from it or trying to escape it.

The more you are able to cope with or tolerate your pain, the less you will need addictions and dysfunctional relationships to distract you from it. When you can move through pain and to Joy you can re-create a life that is fulfilling and say “no” to relationships where you don’t feel loved, cared for or supported.

Ultimately your greatest relationship is with yourself and so you need to learn to be with yourself, regardless of what you are experiencing. You need to be able to confront pain and loneliness. The more powerful your relationship with yourself, the less you will need to project your unhealed wounds onto others or take on the projections of others. You will “know yourself” and know what belongs to you and what doesn’t.

Pain is a part of life and we can never truly avoid it. Stuff happens. But we can develop a much more powerful relationship with our pain and move through it much more quickly, each time there is a painful occurrence in our lives.

I invite you to join me for my four week tele-class “Healing Core Pain” and change your relationship to your pain. This class will be a combination of lecture, support, hypnotherapy and guided process.
